July 27, 2010 at 8:38 pmIt sounds like whatever format those files are in, they are not compatible with Vegas. I guess your only choice is to convert them to AVI like you’ve been doing.

JVC is not know for following standards. I would never buy one of their cameras because of this. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s something JVC has done to make the files non-standard. If you can upload a small file directly from the camera somewhere I’ll see if it works on my system.

July 29, 2010 at 7:15 pmI have been using calibrated xd for decoding finally got that working turns out it makes a difference that you load QuickTime first.
I am now having a problem with Vegas locking up. I just upgraded to windows 7 64 bit with 8 gigs of ram and Vegas keeps locking up with this HD video. Is there some thing I should change in the computer so that it processes faster?
