mp3 won’t import?!
I can’t import mp3s into my project (unexpected error has occurred)–yet I was using an mp3 earlier today. No mp3s will import into the media bin or timeline. Any suggestions? I am importing from an internal hard drive.

OK….Try do a reinstall of vegas 9 then restart the

Have the same problem on my 64bit vegas 9.0
I guess it has something to to with the 64bit version. maybe there is no 64bit mp3 lame-encoder available by now. I heard that vegas 8.1 which is also 64bit has the same problems.
i converted the mp3 to wav with “ABC Amber Audio Converter 1.03” (Freeware) and this worked.
