I know someone is going to tell me to “RTFM moron” – and I have – to no avail, so here goes.
What is the best way to get MP3 files into and out of FCP 5?

Convert them in iTunes (or QT Pro if you haven’t upgraded an lost your capabilities yet) to 16-bit 48K stereo aif files, then bring them into FCP. You can export them and convert them back the same way.

    Hope that helps,

    Ben

Again….. FCP is no capable of handling another thing that everyone else can handle. Sorry, bud. You’ll have to convert them in iTunes or Quicktime.

Have not been able to find the MP3 export parameters in either QT or Itunes.
