    Help!
I was trying to move some text from off-screen right in a very simple slide-on move. It was black text over a yellow rectangle. Sounds easy right? The text looked terrible when cmoving and was not all that clear after landing in place. The edges of the yellow bar developed a slight grey outline. Putting a motion blur on it only made it blurred.

What am I doing wrong? This should be a no-brainer.

How did you animate the text? Can you post a screenshot? How are you evaluating the results?

from what you said, sounds like you are working in DV (highly compressed).
Try working at something thats less compressed like DV50, uncompressed or animation.

Once you find the right recipe, you should have very crisp results from motion.

As noted above, more details would help us narrow the problem and not guess like I did.
