Moving text across the screen

#1: Use the Animation setting: Scroll Left – Center

The duration of the effect is sometimes hard to find the beginning and end. Keep moving the start and end point until you see the 1st letter, then the last letter leave. Adjust the duration in the text box for speed, and fade the ends if you want. You may have to increase the size of the text box, so the text is not destroyed on the left on screen but rather off screen.

#2: Alternatively use the “Pan and Crop” tool on the titles& text FX, and use the keyframe animation tools at the bottom of the window. The move only tool selection on the bottom of theleft icons is useful to limit movement to only left and right. If you do not know what keyframing is, you need to learn it some time.

Thanks again, Aaron. I got the titles to move using the Text Generator. I’ve used key frames before, and did again. By fumbling thru them and somehow getting it the way I wanted :).

I still don’t understand how to use them and the video you shared wasn’t very clear to me either.

But it’s done and i appreciate your help!
