Moving object from video intergrate to other video

The easiest way is to film the dog in front of a blue screen and use the keying filters in Vegas.
I think it is almost impossible to create a convincing mask of the running dog by hand. Unless you go for rotoscoping, e.g. in Photoshop CS3, (very timeconsuming!).
Maybe the new BCC MotionKeyUnit could be of any help for you to isolate the running dog from the background. But then you will need to have either Boris RED, Boris FX or Premiere/After Effects (or any other program where this unit will plug into.)

i dont understand it 100% about those rotoscoping

where can i find a motion key
and what do you mean with that i need plugin or premire and after effects?

sorry for asking so much my english (aint mother langugage)

(i mean a dog was example so i maybe i wanna other things to dowith)

blue schreen sounds good but than i need to have a very clever dog LOL my own studio etc etc actors for every movie (and im not a hollywood movie maker witgh own set etc…)

To transfer the dog from one video to the other, you will have to isolate the dog from the background. This can be done ‘easily’ using the bluescreen method.
Rotoscoping means that you remove the backgound frame for frame, by painting over the background. This can be done in the latest version of Photoshop or in e.g. After Effect, but is very labour intensive.
Taking your dog to the beach will be a much better/faster solution.

The alternative idea I came up with is the BCC MotionKeyUnit. This plugin for AfterEffects removes moving objects from a scene based on a frame to frame comparison of all the frames. If this plugin has a kind of “reverse mask” option, you could use it to isolate the dog. But anyhow, to use this within Vegas, you need an AE-adaptor like Boris RED, Boris FX or After Effects itself.

rotoscoping not realy in my mijnd (maybe voor half minut movie) or somthing but not for longer
