Moving layer to a fixed point
I am trying to position a point control on a 1280×720 layer and have that layers point control moved to 640, 450.
The thing I think is messing me up is that the layers are all scaled differently.

Do you want it to be at [640,450] in comp space? That would be like this:
fromComp([640,450])

I don’t understand. I get how fromcomp works but not sure where to use. The point control on the layer is being pushed further from the anchor point (which is still 640,360 in center of layer) based on the scaling.
I am trying to write an expression on position to push the point control to 640,450 on comp.

Maybe something like this:
p = toComp(effect("Point Control")("Point"));
delta = p - [640,450];
value - delta

Works perfectly. I was thinking I would have to do so much more.
