AFter 8 years of FCP and DSP, I’m trying out Premiere Pro and Encore CS6.

The download did not come with the Library of menus and buttons, so that took an extra hour. Still, after downloading the .dmg from Adobe, there was just a handful of idiot menus, and no buttons. So that was a waste of time.

Now, I fiddled with Flowchart. I suddenly have an item in the Flowchart, that I want to remove. Backspace, Delete, Cut, clear, nothing removes it. It is a blank menu. I want it gone from the flowchart, and back to the Orphanage, or just gone altogether.

I switched tools, nothing removes, nothing rearranges the flow chart not anything but a stupid horizontal flowchart. Unlike FCP which allows you to create many rows.

    Is CS6 defective?

CS6 is not defective. If you want to make an item an orphan, I would go to that asset in the Project tab and remove it from there if you can’t do it from the Flowchart.
