Cinewave isnt playing well as OS X gets older so I’m looking to get a new setup. I have a Rev A G5 Dual 2.0 with a Huge Array.

I’ve got a questions about the Multibridge Extreme- is it simply a converter or a full capture card? It alludes to being a card but nothing jumps straight out and says it. A dumb questions I know.

    Thanks very much

It is both – when connected straight (via PCIe) it is capture card – when connected via SDI/Component/Composite but not PCIe then you can use it as converter

But you do need PCIe mac (the newest version of powermacs)

Thanks for the help on this one.

One further question – I’ve got a Rev A Dual 2.0, so it looks like I dont have PCIe, but I have PCI-X. The Blackmagic PCI Express Bridge can fix that up for me, right? (Whats the retail on that btw?)

    Thanks again
