Hello, I am in the process of creating a 3D stereoscopic video piece. One of the sequences has some fairly complicated masks in them and I have run into a bit of a block while working in Adobe After Effects CS5:

When I create a mask on my left channel (compostion) on a layer I cannot seem to copy it to put into the corresponding right channel (composition). I have tried keyframing and copying the mask shapes but nothing seems to happen when I paste it into the right channel. I recognize that I will have to re align the masks but I cannot even get that far with it. I have also tried simply selecting the masks in the arranger and then pasting them over… but all I get are blank masks with nothing showing up in the composition window.

Any advice would be so greatly appreciate.

    All best,

    Chris
