So when I delete a clip I have to move the clips to the right manualy one by one, which takes a long time. Is there any way to highlight those clips and move them to the left?

I would read up on Ripple Edit in the help file and see if that is what you need.

So when I delete a clip I have to move the clips to the right manually one by one,

You can also go the first clip after the one deleted, right-click and then click on “Select Events to End” and then drag them all at once.

However, if you’re doing simple cuts editing with not much else on your timeline, then use of ripple edit as Aaron suggested is even easier and faster.

I use Ripple Edit all the time for this. BUT, it is a very powerful tool indeed. Do make sure you switch it off after use.
