    Hello,

I previously had Movie Studio 10 but then I decided to format my hard drive, installed Windows again and few days ago I purchased upgrade to my Movie Studio. Now I’ve tried to install some free font that I downloaded.

The font works fine in the Video Media Generator: I can edit it the way I want and it’s fine, but in the Preview it looks like the regular one that pops up right after you insert the Text Media on the video track and click to edit it.
I have tried installing and uninstalling the font, using both, .otf and .ttf inside the font folder, launching the program again, rebooting computer and I even installed Vegas the second time with no luck… Font still shows like it is now.

What can I do? It all worked OK on the Movie Studio 10 and I did it exactly the same way I am doing now (except no clean Windows installation).
The font is Kenyan Coffee and it is downloaded from dafont, if someone needs to know.

    Regards,
    Ilkka

This is a known problem with the new Titles & Text. Please report it so Sony. I too have some fonts that don’t work. Try using the (Legacy) Text generator instead. That usually works.
