I shot some video knowing I was gonna do a voiceover. But the explanation of the video in the voiceover is a little longer than I have video for. I really would like to just freeze the video partway through while the dialogue narrates it and then resume the video when the voiceover moves on. How do I do that?

Movie Studio doesn’t have the velocity envelope feature that Vegas Pro does so the only thing you can do is take a snapshot at the desired freeze point, split the video and move it to the right, drop the snapshot frame at the split point, set it to the desired length and then close the gap (if there is one).
    Does that make sense?

Okay, I’ll give it a shot, thanks!
