I have looked hard for this answer so that means it is probably so obvious I can’t see it. How do you stitch two cut pieces back together? I know there is the “Undo” button for recent moves, but I’m talking about way later in a project when you want to put a couple of events back together as a single event.

Because everything on your timeline is a virtual clip, all you have to do is to delete the second event (the Vegas term for a clip) and stretch the first one out as desired.

Thanks, that makes sense. But how about an event where you chop out the middle and want to stitch the 2 ends together and move it around as one event instead of 2? I’m doing some interviews where that would be helpful.

Click and shift+click all the audio and video events (4 of them) and then press the g key to group them together.
They will now move as one event.

If you are talking about unsplitting a video clip,
Vegasaur plugin has this feature and is what i use.
But unfortunately it only support Vegas Pro.
Therefore you can take a look at Vasst UltimateS, this too
    contain this feature.
