Moved Kona LHe Bay now no audio or machine control
Aloha,
We moved one of our Kona LHe edit bays to another desk and now we have no RS422 deck control or audio..or component video in from Betacam.When I change Sys Prefs to monitor audio thru Line out Mac in I get sound palying aiff’s off desktop but nothing thru FCP in either AJA or Mac line out. Tried re-seating board..notta..Any ideas? -

Talked to Promax (happy they have people there still for tech support)They asked if i have a green light on my breakout box. I do not…tried re-connecting fat aja control cable..nice firm connection..no pins bent or messy..still no green light..which why I assume I’m not getting correct signal flow.

then it is possible you fried the board.
but first
did you install the correct drivers from the website for your system / FCP version ?gary adcock

check to make sure that the led is lit on the CARD – that is the one that counts- it should flash during startup.

That multi pin control cable is not labeled what direction it should go.. So I swapped ends..presto..green light everything works 🙂
