MOV won’t open: Error Message “item is used by Mac OS X and can’t be opened”
I have a MOV file that is greyed out in finder. If I click on it, I can see the thumbnail- and it plays in both the thumbnail and in quick look. It will not open with final cut, premiere, quicktime player or any other program. I cannot copy or move the file. I have tried several online tools with nothing working: treasured, repair utility from Grau GmbH, Yodot, remo repair, and I have also repaired disc permissions from my mac disc utility. Nothing works. I know the file is there, but I can’t get it to open… please help!
