Hi my name is Sam and i post video game content .Im posting here because im trying out new codecs and i want to render in Mov. I have the quicktime codecs as well. I render usually in 1920 by 1080 60fps with 32 bits rate. I have rendered things multiple times and the audio is always out of sync with the video. Any suggestions?

    Hi Sam

Can you post Mediainfo on your file so we can have a better idea of what’s going on ?

In Mediainfo, first select ‘Text’ mode in the ‘View’ tab, it provides more information than the default view.

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/mediainfo/

If you could also include you machine specs, Vegas version, etc… The more info we get, the better the answer.

    Cheers !

    Hi Sam,

In addition to the info Francois requested…..

What do you mean by “32 bits rate“? Is that in reference to 32 bit floating point pixel format?

.MOV is a file container (wrapper), but does not explain what format is inside (reason for Francois asking for the Mediainfo), so what render format and template are you using for rendering? Can you post a screenshot of the render template. Also may as well post a screenshot of the Project Properties, Thank You.

    Best Regards……George

    Hi Sam,

    32 bit rate videos levels

Vegas Pro 16 has either 8-bit, 32-bit floating point (video levels), or 32-bit floating point (full range). These are pixel formats, and have nothing to do with a “rate”. Are you talking about pixel format set in your Project Properties?

There is a very little advantage from using 32-bit floating point unless you are trying to achieve 10 bit, bit depth or HDR and neither of those will render when posting to Youtube.

I would imagine, but until you post the information Francois has requested this is just a guess, your screen capture source media is variable frame rate and this may have something to do with your issue. Or, you may be rendering in a different audio sampling rate.

Please post the Mediainfo requested along with a screenshot of your Project Properties and Render Template.

    Best Regards……George
