.mov in photoshop cs4
hello all.
i have output a .mov file from final cut pro, and i want to use photoshop cs4 to do a frame by frame clean up of images in the .mov file.
i got the .mov file to load in photoshop cs4, and the .mov file will play upon hitting the space bar.
however, the audio won’t play, and i can’t move the .mov file frame by frame manually.
another issue is, i try to save the file and it wants to save the individual frame in various still image formats, but i want the changes to take effect in the movie file itself.
all of these issues seems to be basic functions, yet i can’t figure any of this out.

I don’t know if Photoshop is able to export QT movies, but what is clear is that never will do nothing “in the movie it self”. In the best case you will need export a movie with the effects and changes applied to your clip.
Up to the Adobe papers (https://livedocs.adobe.com/en_US/Photoshop/10.0/help.html?content=WSAE917325-3C3B-4521-9B64-DD5784E684D8.html) you should be able to export QT movies.

Ok, you really need to spend about 20 or 30 minutes reading your Photoshop manual. All of this is covered there, spread across several pages and pretty well organized. I know this because this is how I figured it out.

Yes, you can.
File>Export>Render Video.
And there your have the pop up menu with the .mov settings.
