I just recently updated iTunes and Quicktime and after the update MOV files don’t play in Vegas 8c. Does anyone know how to fix this? I’m using Windows XP. Thanks.

Yea, go back to the previous version of Quicktime (8.6.4) or upgrade to Vegas Pro 9.0e. Apple broke Vegas with their latest Quicktime update so you either need to stay at the previous level of Quicktime or upgrade to the latest level of Vegas.

Thanks John! Is there anyway of going back to the previous version without downloading it from Apple? I don’t know if I have the set up file for the old one….

As Mike Kujbida always points out, you can get Quicktime 7.6.4 from the Avid site.
