.mov file is not working in AE CS3

Do you have QuickTime installed on that computer? What video codec does the file use? Do you have that codec installed and enabled in QuickTime?

i don’t have quick time installed…but can u please provide me the link ALONG WITH THAT CODEC required to play .mov in after effects please…

My experience is that After Effects does not take Quicktimes containing the Avid Meridian Codec (or any Avid Codec).
Also (though unlikely to be the factor here) check the colourspace.

There’s your problem.

You can download QuickTime from the Apple website.
