June 3, 2010 at 12:53 pmDo you have QuickTime installed on that computer? What video codec does the file use? Do you have that codec installed and enabled in QuickTime?

June 3, 2010 at 3:15 pmMy experience is that After Effects does not take Quicktimes containing the Avid Meridian Codec (or any Avid Codec).
Also (though unlikely to be the factor here) check the colourspace. -

You can download QuickTime from the Apple website.
