  MOV Conversion (2048 x 618) to DVCProHD with Black magic

  Hello

  I have just been presented with an animation sequence with the following specifications:

  MOV Uncompressed
  2048 x 618
  30fps

  I need to get it to DVCProHD for playback.

  I did a test using the Black magic HDTV 720p60 at 29.9fps, then rendered out to DVCPro HD 720p60 at 30fps. Aspect ratio was maintained (letterbox) and all looks good and plays back well.

  The projection system can project a full screen image with out the top and bottom black letter box.

  Is there a better way to do this?
