Mounting Accessories on HPX370 and HPX500 – Cold Shoe?
I’ve been trying to mount accessories on our HPX 500 and HPX370s but everything seems to be designed for a standard cold shoe, which is inside-out from what’s on these camcorders. I’ve tried searching for adapters but I haven’t found anything yet. Specifically, I’d like to mount an Atomos Samurai on a Pearstone PEAA83K Articulating Arm. How are people attaching things to these camcorders?

My HPX-500 has a 1/4-20 on the front and rear of the top handle. I use arms all the time to connect accessories with no add-ons.
