Motion won’t open properly
When I try to open a template or create a new project the canvas window does not open. I only get a library and navigation window. When I try to check my prefs, they won’t open. I trashed my old prefs, and even reinstalled Motion and still no luck. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there a trick to uninstalling? I trashed the app, the prefs and reciept files, then reinstalled.
I’m running FCP 5.0.1 on a Quad 2.5 G5, 4 gigs RAM, OSX 10.4.7, Blackmagic Decklink card. -

Heya,
It’s possible that your ProKit version (the Pro Apps UI library) has gotten mismatched. That’s usually the reason for windows not appearing/drawing.
Try downloading the Pro Application Support update from https://www.apple.com/support/downloads/proapplicationsupport31macosx104.html
It may do the trick. Good luck!

Hurray! It worked. It also fixed a weird crash problem I was having with Batch Monitor. Thank you.
