Motion wants serial number
I’m not entirely sure why my copy of Motion has now decided to start asking for my serial number on launch, but it does periodically. Very annoying.
This is a clean install as part of FCS2. Typically this happens when I’m sending something from FCP to Motion. I have already registered the program. If I choose quit and then do exactly the same “send” command from FCP, typically it launches and opens without issue. I have reentered the information into the registration box, but it still isn’t satisfied.
On more rare occasions, I get the registration box when launching Motion directly (such as from the dock). Again, choosing quit and relaunching makes it go away.
Any ideas? Is there something in the Library or a prefs I need to delete?

I’d do a clean reinstall of OS X and FCS.

I agree. It’s just one of those things. Hardly even worth the call to Apple.

I get it too. I suspect it happens when I have Adobe products running concurrently.
