Motion Tutorial doesn’t seem to work
In attempting the Motion 2 DVD Tutorial regarding integration with FCP, the example says to highlight two clips on the FCP timeline, select SEND TO MOTION in the File menu, when the drop down box appears UNCHECK the “EMBED MOTION CONTENT” button, and SAVE AS PROJECT to a specified location on the hard drive, and hit open.
Bottom line is, Motion opens, but the clips are not there in the Motion viewer as shown in the tutorial, and furthermore, I’ve checked and the project is not saved where I directed it either. I’ve done all the steps several times, making certain to follow the DVD tutorial to the letter, and it never works. I trashed the Motion Preferences and it still won’t work. Has anyone got a clue what’s wrong???

Project directory imported from Tutorial DVD as “Read Only”… That was the problem…
