Motion tracking the clone tool… help!
So, I want to blot out a blemish on a close-up of an actress’ face, by cloning another part of her face. Now, seems I’ve figured out how to track. And I’ve figured out how to clone (I’ve added one clone stamp for the blemish). But, when I hit the “edit” button in the tracker tool, the applied clone stamp effect is simply not in the list (but a lens flair effect is). What am I doing wrong? Thanks for your help!!!
(P.S. Is there a good tutorial or instructions for motion-tracking with cloning? I can find cloning, and I can find motion tracking, but I cannot find a case where the two are used together. Thank you!!!!!)

Consider making a still image of the cloned skin pixels, making a layer of it and apply the motion track to it.

Thanks Jim! That’s actually what I ended up doing. But I’d still *love* to know how to use motion tracking with cloning — it just mystifies me. I know I’m missing something simple, just can’t for the life of me make it work right.
