Has something changed in motion tracking in CS5?

I’m trying to add a precomped graphic to a shot of a computer screen but when I select motion track, it pops me into the layer panel of the precomp.

This means I can’t see the layer beneath that I want to track and therefore have no reference points to attach my tracker to.

I’m sure CS3 used to apply the motion tracker in the comp window so why is CS5 bouncing me into the layer view?

Unless I’m being monumentally silly and have forgotten to do something very basic, which is quite likely…

    Cheers in advance!

    Sometimes, I just embarrass myself.

It’s been a while since I used motion track and I think I was getting it confused with stabilizing footage.

Thanks Dave. Gonna go hide my head in a bucket for a while…
