Motion tracking green screen can it be done????/ Please help.
Ok so I totally thought I could take on this project.
I have actors holding up a green card that I wanted to green screen out and I would put up a picture in its place. The footage cannot be reshot. Problem is is the actors not only moved the card but changed its angle as well. Is their any way to mask the original green card and have it motion tracked and have the picture (Static Image move with the motion and perspective. I have AE PRo 6.5 . Project is due this coming monday can anyone help out. Think HP commercial but not stopping pictures just a seperate picture motion tracked around on a green card. Kind of newbie praying this is possible. I really don’t want to try frame by frame hand animate. -

Import your video and the replacement picture. I would stack the video on top, replace picture below. Use the motion tracker & rotation tracker. When you use rotation tracker, it will give you two boxes. Apply each one to corners of your green card.
Apply the tracking data to the replacement picture. Now just key out the green card. If the picture doesn’t line up correctly, just adjust it’s anchor point until it’s where it should be in the frame.
I did a project like this and found that I had to precomp the replacement picture to get it to be sized correctly first. Then do the motion tracking.

if/when you accomplish all that was mentioned, a nice touch is add some of the lighting changes back in by using the reverse of your green screen key.
