    Hi everyone,
Can someone give me an advice how can I do this effect:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2X-HsJznJ4
I tried with motion tracking in After Effects but with no good result.
Also I tried with Avid`s motion tracker but it was the same.
Is it possible to do that in After Effects? Or I need some other softwer?
    Thanks for help!

To get true results you need a 3D tracker, Syntheyes is a good one, I think it’s $399. I think there’s a free one called VooDoo but I never did anything with it.

You could probably simulate with Perspective Corner Pin tracking in AE and get fine results. Then use the effect Corner Pin to match the corners of your image with the corners of your card. Good luck!

And if you have $3,000 lying around, there’s always Mocha, the planar tracker from Imagineer. From what I’ve seen, that would stick like glue, even though it isn’t true 3D…

This is not the kind of thing you’d need a 3D tracker. A perspective corner pin track is what you need to do, although AE’s tracker is kind of blah.

I’m actually preparing a tutorial on using Mocha with AE. It is a very solid tracker and can probably pull this off with ease.

You was right Aharon. Mocha makes very good results. But when I import in AE everything is fine except that it shrinks the insert clip and I can’t put it in normal size.
    In Combustion all works nice.
    Thanks for advices

Depending on what kind of tracking operation you’re doing, it may be as simple as erasing any scale keyframes and then setting the scale back to the default.

Not seeing exactly what you are doing, I have know way to know for sure. But I can tell you that in all likelihood, there is a simple solution.
