  Motion text issues

  Lap top: processor 2.6 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo … 4 GB 66 MHz DDR2 SDRAM … version 10.5.8. Using FCPro 6.06 and also have CS4 loaded on this system for Encore Blu-Ray authoring. I am having an issue with “motion” crawl and other animated text files not rendering properly in Final Cut. I can’t even create a .mov without the letters being lost or scrambled. Works fine in pre-intel desk top. Any suggestions? Do I need to provide more info? I mention CS4 as a possible conflict … I haven’t tried removing it.
