MOTION: Text in a Shape and masked
Hey
I am trying to do the following – I want to put text in a shape so they are linked, and motion path it to the left.
Now all sounds easy, but the text and shape is hidden partially at the start behind a sculpture. The idea is that it moves out from behind the sculpture to reveal itself.Now, I can go as far as creating a shape (I am doing this IN motion as I want it to ‘write on’) and masking it with a circle mask and then applying a motion path.
However, when I add text to ‘inside’ the shape, not only does it not have teh same motion path properties, but I can’t mask it off either.
I want teh text to attach itself to the shape with all the same masking and motion properties, but cannot do it.Can anyone suggest anything? Is it the order I am doing it in?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I’d have to see the project to understand what it is you’re doing i.e. trying to do and to understand what is in fact going wrong, if anything.
