Motion templates in FCP realtime?
Hi all. I searched and didn’t find anything, but i thought i’d give it a try…
is there ANY way to have some very simple motion templates (lower 3rds/ location ids etc) work in realtime over in FCP? These are the very very basic white text over picture IDs.
format is dvcprohd 720p 24.

Depends on your hardware but with UnlimitedRT on some of them should play without rendering. But why don’t you just render in order to play back? What are you trying to accomplish?

This is a show that will bounce around between editors and assistants a bit. I was just wondering if there was something i was missing and could adjust to get realtime playback while working.
It was worth a try…render it is.
