    Apple Motion 4 is crashing from kernel panics every time I ask it to do anything like save, export, import. Re-loaded the OS. Re-loaded Motion 4 and ran the updates. Still happening. FCP7 and FCS 3 is fine, only Motion is misbehaving. What do? Engineer is ready to try a new hard drive. I’m ready to try a downgrade to Motion 3.

    Sounds to me like a clean install needs to be done. “Reloading” isn’t clean don’t think if I understand what you did… you need to erase your startup disk to perform a clean install or use a new or empty one.
