    Hi all,

I have imported both illustrator and psd files into motion and added fade in and fade out.Very standard stuff. The files are basically logos from companies and have a transparent background.

When i import the motion file into fcp it jumps (or flares, not sure on the right terminology here) on the white and grey text.
It doesnt do this for text created in motion only for psd and illus files that are brought in. no jumpyness in motion only in fcp.

I have rendered and even exported fcp timeline and it still has the same effect.
Any ideas on what I can do. I cant change the color (if that has anything to do with the flare/jumping as this is the color of the company.

    Any ideas would be appreciated.
I can post up the footage on vimeo if this helps.

    cheers,

    anthony.

You might try saving those files as .png with transparency instead of what you’ve got now. Might help.
