Motion effect editor
Hi guys I appreciate any help you could giving me concerning the motion effect editor. I’m working in Media Composer 5.5.2. I’m trying to do a pretty simple effect. I have a 20 sec clip spliced into 3 parts. I would like to speed up the first part, slow down the middle and on the last part return to normal speed or maybe speed up. Whenever I try to use the motion effect editor I get a “beep” noise and it doesn’t open. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong (obviously).

Why don’t you leave it as one clip and use keyframes at different points where you want to speed up, slow down, ramp, etc?

Thanks! I’m a quantel editor so I was trying to do it the way I would in quantel because it’s the only way I could figure to do it.
