Choose Switches > Disable ResamplingThis fixed all my problems! 🙂

June 29, 2012 at 8:13 pmWhat you are talking about here is not actually motion blur – that can be added separately or as an effect.
You are seeing frame or field blending, which is what Vegas does by default when frame rates do not match. This can usually be avoided by using the “Disable Resample” option as Danny describes.
On top of that, the default deinterlacing method (used when you have interlaced footage in a project that you are rendering to a progressive output format) is “blend fields” which does much the same thing as the “resample” feature. Changing to “interpolate” for deinterlacing forces Vegas to drop alternate fields and make up the output frame from a single field. This often gives cleaner results for high-motion footage.
