    Hi,

I just installed the Final Cut Studio 2 upgrade on a client’s 8 core Mac Pro 2.8 GHz with NVidio 8800 graphics card, 2GB Ram (yes, I know, anemic), Mac OS 10.5.2, Quicktime 7.4.5 and Decklink SP card with 6.6.5 drivers. I applied all of the Final Cut updates.

When I open Motion, it is exhibiting 2 issues:

    1. One of the displays is in portrait mode, rotated 90 degrees. Motion does not like this — that display flashes blue on and off until I rotate it to 0 degrees.

    2. When I open Motion there are blocky artifacts everywhere on the screen (not just the canvas), and portions of the Motion interface are invisible (not whole palettes, but portions are carved out). If I move windows around, it seems to redraw the areas that are moved and erase the artifacts.

    Anyone else seeing these issues?

    Thanks,
    Graham.
