    There’s an interesting audio interview (podcast) at https://www.fxguide.com talking about the use of the GPU in Motion to help speed things up. Its actually pretty amazing how used you get used to the kinds of increase in interactivity when designing motion graphics. I find its really quite freeing.

    I’ll be curious to see how much of this impacts other applications in the long run….isn’t one of the things about flame how it uses the sgi graphics? And now Apple and others are doing the same.

    Many 3D apps take advantage of the GPU to increase rendering speed, including After Effects and Boris RED. Yes, I expect we’ll see more of this in future versions of other graphics software too.
