Posted this question in January and got no reply. Nobody can answer this??

When I create a generator/effect etc to use in fcpx, how do I know that the generator is rendering at the highest quality when i play in fcpx? Does that depend on the settings when I save the motion generator?

For instance, if I’m working in motion at a lower resolution and render quality, will that carry over to fcpx?

How do I make sure that motion generators are rendering at their highest quality in fcpx?

    Thanks!

When you use a Motion template inside FCPX you will always get the highest possible resolution regardless of how your Motion project is set up.

I actually don’t get the best quality. When rendered right from Motion, the quality is apparently better. I didn’t find any mention of quality control in the manual. I’d even expect quality parameters such as motion blur on/off switch available for publishing. Is this possible?

No, you can’t publish motion blur parameters.

Too bad. Motion Blur can solve unpleasant flickering. Maybe in next version? 🙂
