  MOTION 5/ FCP X lighting fx looks like garbage

  Making a really simple graphic in Motion 5. Using the Lights to cast some nice shadows on text over a graded grey background. Looks awesome in Motion ,full screen. Render and send to FCPX-looks awesome full screen there too. Exported Uncompressed 8-bit, 422 and 422 HQ, even did an image sequence) all good.

  View it in Quicktime or FCP 7? Garbage. It looks like a topographical map. Seriously. Really simple light FX. I’ve only got 1 camera with a simple Y axis sweep with the light behind the text.

  I’m not a super pro graphics person, but I’m a pro editor using FCP since the beginning. What is the deal?
