  Motion 5 export takes hours

  Hi

  I am trying to export a movie from Motion, but the length of time to export is exceeding several hours. I have recently upgraded my RAM from 2GB to 4GB, and the expected file size of the film is less than 1.5GB. I can’t work out why my computer gets to about 7%, and by that point the export time is astronomical. I have taken off all effects etc, and changed render quality to draft, and still not much change. I have a feeling it is quite a simple fix but can’t think for the life of me what it is.

  Any advice would be gratefully received.
