August 14, 2008 at 1:06 amAwesome link earlier I myself and looking into trying some of this myself after seeing local photographer do this. The photographer told me the best way to do a photo montage like this is to shoot with it in mind. He did wedding montages and would shoot the couple in front of the background and then have the couple move and shoot the background empty. That way you have a full clean background giving you a little more flexibility.
There are no “technical solutions” to your “artistic problems”.

November 26, 2008 at 4:58 pmHi,
No.
The best is to use Raw pictures. It allows to zoom/travel in the pic without losing quality and seeing the pixels …growing.
Then you need to cut the subjects: the bird, the ball, the people. Whatever the project. My Apple teacher showed me a tutorial on Ripple. Then he told me to buy Photoshop Elements to do it. But I needed the expensive full version Photoshop 4. Too expensive. I didn’t get it.When on my desktop I’ll send you the Ripple class and the best 3D video I ever saw.
