Most stable Media Composer Andrenaline (WinXP) release?
We’re struggling thru an Avid “upgrade” – after berating our engineers, we were allowed to upgrade from the original MC-A verison of 1.5, to a newer version. We were told that 2.2.10 was the most stable and “best” version to upgrade to….which I now know is WRONG.
What the best, stable and most reliable verison of MC-A for WinXP? A buddy at a post house raves about anything above 2.5.x….

Yea 2.5.x and 2.6.6 seems to be very stable.
FYI – if you are upgrading from version 1.x to 2.x it is HIGHLY recommended that it is a clean install of the OS. If not, at least don’t migrate user settings and Avid settins (aka MC State, Site Settings and etc) since they are not compatible. The will cause you a lot of headache.
