    Hi,

I’m running FCP 7 on Mac OS 10.5.8 and I’m trying to figure out if I can install QuickTime 7.6.9. I assume because it’s a ‘point point’ update I’ll be fine, but don’t want to risk it.

    Am I OK?

As I always suggest to every user concerned about an update or upgrade, just clone your system drive to another drive first using Carbon Copy Cloner, that should alleviate all your worries when you try the update.

Well, yeah, Dave, that did seem a little drastic to me, but I didn’t wanna say nothin’ as Mr. Weiss has been a bit short with me in the past and I didn’t want to offend him. He does seem to know what he’s talking about.
