Most recent AJA Kona LHi driver that works with media 100 Suite v2.1 running on OS 10.6.8?

The current version of Media 100 is not supported for this latest driver, but in the coming weeks we should be releasing a version that will support this updated driver. If you need one sooner, shoot me an email at support@media100.com.

I was just curious because currently…using driver v.8.0, I can’t get video out of my AJA Kona card for Adobe Premiere Pro CS 5.5. I read that driver v.9.0 remedied that. Again, it is no big deal because I mainly cut in Media 100 but it would be nice to have that functionality in other apps.

The 9.0.5/9.0.6 drivers do work with Suite 2.1 on 10.6.8; the 9.1 driver does not. So if you want to upgrade to the 9.0.5 version (9.0.6 for LHi) you should be good to go.

Floh, please advise on AJA driver update for Media 100 Suite 2.0.1, using 10.6.8, have Kona LHe card (described as AJA KONA LH PCIe Card supporting HD/SD analog I/O, 10 bit . . . Let me know if more info would be helpful.

Do you mean 2.0.1 or 2.1? In both instances, there should be a “Media 100 Release Notes” document under the “Media 100 Suite”->Launch menu item. There you can find the minimum and recommended driver versions for each release.
