  more relinking woes

  Hello!

  Okay, this should be an easy one.

  Probably because I now have multiple copies of the same media across several drives, the projects I open after completing a successful relink yesterday now still show up with several clips offline.

  When I set bin displays and get into the clips, and relink them I get this Charlie Chaplin multiple doors effect – I relink clip A, fine. I go to relink clip B and clip A goes offline again.

  And save file doesn’t do anything. Rebuilt msms etc without effect.

  Avid MC 5.0.3 on a dual quad Intel Mac, 10.6.6. Oh, and I get the Segment Error OxO crash every time on exit, same as many here.

  Ideas? I’m going to check folder file counts – 5k limit, right?
