Basically what I have done is extruded a path. made it editable and I am trying to apply a bulge to it to make it a convex shape. Its a logo that I want to spin.

the problem is that when I flatten it the caps are too flat to be able to bulge smoothly. is there any quicker way to apply a mesh or something over the model that will give more polygons otherr than lots of bridge points.

    Hope someone can help.

    Thanks,

    Brian

set the caps in the extrude to be Triangles or Quadrangles then check off Regular Grid and set the width to something small enough to give you a bulge. That will work if you don’t bulge/distort too much (if you do the edges can look nasty)

Thats perfect thanks a million. There is always one more little box to be clicked to get things just looking right.
