more perplexing capture problems
hi,
I’m also having capture problems. worked fine in past, now “dropped frames” happens very quickly and assuredly. have tried 2 different hard drives and result is same.
also works fine if I ONLY import video (no audio)using:
powerbook G4 (only 1 firewire port)
FCP HD 4.5
different dv camerasanyone have an idea?

How much speed of the Powerbook have you got?
Did you update shortly?
Amount of Ram?
Firewire 400?
Settings in FCP4.5?Rainer
