  • More Motion Blur steps?

    Hi.

I just noticed that motion blur is giving just two steps (i.e. it makes it look as if the image was just duplicated). Is there a setting I can adjust to make the motion blur more realistic?

    Thanks in advance

in cs3, in the comp settings>advanced tab you have control over the number of samples… the defaults should be 16 samples per frame and 128 for adaptive sample limit.

if you used the force motion blur effect (needed because some effects won’t use ae’s native motion blur) you can set the number of samples in the effect.

Thanks a lot, it was set to two samples, I don’t know why.
