    A while ago I posted a message asking for a way to composite chromakey with a nice background bloom.

    Thanx to all who replied. It gave me some direction, but I never got to the essence…

    How to apply standard effects (not plugins like DVmatte or Sapphire) and in what order to stack them inside Final Cut? I can do the trick in Motion, blindfolded in AE but I still want to know how to control the mattes in FCP. Can anyone solve this puzzle (let’s say in under 8 layers?)

    Did you try the alpha matte?
